Before purchasing essential oils for home or office use, it is always advisable to get informed through a professional or qualified aromatherapy practitioner, as there are very numerous producers and sellers of such products and not all of them are very serious. You should know that the aromatherapy essential reed diffuser oil is usually sold in a dark glass container.

You should look for the amber rather than cobalt blue containers. Never buy esential oils that are sold in plastic containers. Also look at the price of the reed diffuser oil when you buy it. The cheaper it is, the the less therapeutic value it has as it has been distilled twice or three times of the plant material. In order to test the reed diffuser oil you want to buy, for its purity, that is, it does not include petroleum-based solvents, put a few smple drops on a blotting paper. If any residue remains on the paper then you should not buy it. It is not pure, because in the case of the pure essential reed diffuser oil no residue will remain. All the oil will evaporate.
